I am. No I am not the great “I AM” but I am a valued, respected, growing creation. My life is a process of choices. I have learned that no matter what life hands you, you do have a choice in how you respond.

I have taken TSI 101 in March 2006 and 201 in the fall 2006. I was looking for a way to become a healthy, happy person. I did not want to go to a doctor and be medicated nor did I want to go to a therapist and relive my past. So I sought out a Wellness Consultant that helped me get involved with TSI.

Dee Petersen helped me begin the changes that I wanted to make. I wanted actions and ways that I could take control of my life. Through TSI 101 I learned to listen and respond. This made a major change in my relationship with my husband. We were what some call, “married singles.” We lived in the same house but lived separate lives. Because I was able to stop reacting to my husbands actions and words or lack of actions and words rather than respond our relationship has improved greatly. I now enjoy being with my husband and speak up for myself and value myself in this relationship.

I now have a relationship with my brother. We visit once a year and talk on the phone once a month. Prior to TSI we had no communication nor did he seek to have a relationship with me. I made a choice to contact him and we are now getting to know each other after 25 years of estrangement.

In 201 I was able to forgive my parents and leave that burden at their grave. I found out that because of an incident in my childhood I had lived my life as though I was not loved. I now practice forgiveness and gratitude for the learning opportunities “all” things good or bad provide.

The other main area that TSI helped was in my physical well being. I had broken my leg in 2004 and had cancer in 2005 and had some problems with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and anxiety. I just did not feel well nor did I have any energy. With Dee’s help we created a plan of exercise, eating and journaling along with taking TSI that has improved my health. I now practice yoga three times a week, walk two times, eat less fat and sugars, have 4-5 servings of fruits and, and drink 64 ounces of water daily.

I am decreasing the number of medications that I take and hope to be off all but the absolutely necessary ones by the end of 301.

Socially I am doing things that I enjoy more, photography, games, funny movies and being around positive people.

Financially I have gone from having no income to having $490 a month. I am exploring my options for a Career that I did not seek before.

I am now a more confident person that has a mission in life. I have integrity and compassion and have learned some core values because of my experiences in TSI. Am I where I want to be? No! But “I am” in the process of growth and change and I am no longer afraid to reach for my dreams.

Dee Petersen has been a coach in both 101 and 201 and has been a major factor in helping me stretch and grow. My other coaches were Cliff Stockamp that helped me choose to change and held me accountable for my decisions. Phyllis Nagle was a great encourager.

Challenge, encouragement and accountability are three things that the coaches in TSI do so well. Without this environment I would not have made the changes that needed to be made. I would encourage anyone to take these courses and to take the challenge to change and grow.
