Born in Elkhart, Indiana, in 1965, I graduated High School in this wonderful small town.

I attended Columbia College in Columbia, MO where I got a BA degree in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Business in 1987.

Following graduation I returned to my hometown in Indiana and began to work in sales. I enjoyed a career in sales and marketing at NIBCO where I also met and married a fellow sales person and relocated to Baltimore, MD.   After two years I became restless for the fashion world and applied at Nordstrom. Nordstrom requires everyone to start on the sales floor.  After 6 months I became the manager and just 11 months later I was promoted to the management of the largest volume women’s department in the store.  I would go on to become the Regional Merchandiser for the East Coast.  I received the coveted “Inverted Pyramid Award’ three times: an award given in “recognition of servant leadership”.  I had the great joy of watching many people that I had mentored and coached get promoted.

When I got in to TSI in late 2005 I knew I needed to make some changes.

Thanks to TSI I gained the courage to leave my job and devote myself full-time to my Mold Inspection and Healthy Living Technologies Company and to becoming a successful entrepreneur.  I ended my unhealthy marriage and relocated to Charlotte, NC.

I am now actively involved in my church and community.  I am working out 5 days a week, and building a great group of new friends while moving forward in my career.  Recently, I met a wonderful man who I enjoy spending time with and getting to know better.   I joined a networking group called BNI (Business Networking International) and was asked to become a certified trainer for the organization within 3 months.

Realizing that my gifts truly are in training and development I have now made the exciting decision to become a “Coach in Training” with TSI.

My keys to success:   1. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  2.  The courage to admit I need help and the strength to ask for it.  3.  A passion to serve others by being a problem solver.  4.  A lifetime commitment to growth and personal development.

Realizing that I have value, expecting others to treat me accordingly and that I wanted to be held accountable by others has changed my life and TSI was the catalyst for those realizations.
